1. Overview

What the Lead Engine does for you

The Igor Lead Engine is a fully automated lead generation and outreach system that runs inside Telegram. You tell it what type of business to find and where — it does the rest.

Here's what happens when you run a search:

Igor only searches when you tell it to. Nothing runs automatically — you decide when to find leads and when to send emails.

2. Finding Leads

The core command

Send this command to Igor on Telegram:

/leads find [industry] in [location]
Searches for businesses in the specified industry and location. Returns up to 15 leads per search.
Example: /leads find accountants in Miami
/leads find restaurants in Chicago
Finds restaurant businesses in Chicago with contact emails.
/leads find forex traders in London
Finds trading businesses and professionals in London.

Each search takes about 30–60 seconds to complete. Igor will confirm how many leads were found and added to your spreadsheet.

⚠️ Avoid repeating the same search.

Igor automatically removes duplicates, but searching the same industry and location multiple times wastes your daily API quota. Mix up your searches.

4. Managing Your Spreadsheet

Viewing and downloading your leads

Every lead Igor finds is saved to an Excel spreadsheet. The spreadsheet contains:

Downloads your full leads spreadsheet as an Excel file directly in Telegram.
/leads count
Shows total leads, how many have emails, and how many emails have been sent.

5. Setting Up Email Outreach

One-time setup to unlock email sending

Igor sends emails using your Gmail account. You need to create a secure App Password — this keeps your main password safe.

⚠️ Use an App Password — not your real Gmail password.

App Passwords are safe, revocable, and only work with Igor. Never share your actual Gmail password.

6. Sending Outreach Emails

Let Igor write and send personalised cold emails

Igor uses AI to write a unique, personalised email for each business — mentioning their name, industry, and a relevant pitch. No two emails are the same.

Preview what an email will look like before sending anything.
Example: /outreach preview "Joe's Accounting" accountants
/outreach send 10
Sends emails to the next 10 leads that haven't been contacted yet. Igor waits 2 seconds between each send to avoid spam filters.
💡 Start small.

Always send a small batch first (5–10) and check responses before sending to your full list. This protects your email reputation.

⚠️ Legal requirement.

Every email Igor sends includes an unsubscribe option as required by CAN-SPAM law. Never remove this. If someone replies "unsubscribe", remove them from your list immediately.

Run the same industry search in 5–10 different cities. Builds a large, focused list fast.

📧 Preview before you send
Always run /outreach preview first to make sure the email tone matches your brand.
📊 Check your count regularly
Use /leads count to track how many leads have emails vs no email. Focus your searches on industries more likely to publish contact info.
⏰ Search in the morning, send in the afternoon
Build your list in the morning, then send outreach in the afternoon. Business emails get better open rates between 10am–2pm.
